Subsurface conditions outrank the floodplain map
LFUCG floodplain management holds the parcel record, and inside a mapped zone the scale of structural work can engage additional requirements. The more consequential local factor is geological: the Inner Bluegrass sits on soluble limestone where a void can develop below a footing with no surface sign. Establishing what supports the foundation is therefore a real step, not a formality.

Establish what supports the footing first
Citywide records cannot tell you your parcel's flood status, what lies beneath your footing, or what is causing the movement above it. Get the first from LFUCG and the rest from an engineer with no stake in the repair.
